The Corn Hall is seeking a confident and reliable, Casual Duty Manager to assist in the running of evening events.

The Duty Manager is the senior member of staff on duty and is responsible for the smooth running of all aspects of any event being held.

After an initial period of shadowing and training we anticipate the Casual Duty Manager being needed occasionally, generally no more than once a week or so, usually on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday afternoons/evenings. The Corn Hall. For more details see below for job description.

Vacancy : Café Assistant / Bar Assistant

Casual Hours – National Minimal Wage (£11.44 p/h)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Café / Bar Assistant to join our wonderful team here in The Corn Hall Café. 

As Café / Bar Assistant your role will include serving our lovely customers by making and serving hot drinks, yummy lunches, cakes and light bites plus preparing and baking our homecooked produce (including our famous cheese scones).

You’ll enjoy giving a friendly welcome and great customer service. You’ll be working alongside and supporting our other team members in the Café, under our Café Supervisor.

Of course, you will need to follow a strict hygiene routine and our Café procedures. Previous experience is essential but in-house training will also be given.
