An Honest Gentleman
By Cordelia Spence & Tim Lane
Born in Aylsham, Norfolk in 1715, the highwayman Thomas Easter was hung at Tyburn 24 years later. His life was packed with adventure and intrigue as he plied his trade from North Norfolk to Putney Heath as a Gentleman of the Road, ‘raising contributions upon the public’.
Subtitled A musical play about East Anglia’s very own Dick Turpin, join us for this rollicking Georgian adventure of a dashing and charming rogue, who ultimately dances the hangman’s jig.
