Bite-sized Ballets – Tortoise & the Hare

Production Company: Northern Ballet
Venue: The Corn Hall

Northern Ballet’s Bite Sized Ballets are the perfect way for your little ones to enjoy the magic of dance, music and storytelling on the big screen!

Once upon a time there was a speedy Hare who would never stop talking about how fast he could run. Sick of being teased for his slowness, Tortoise challenged him to a race. No one thought he could win, but life is full of surprises!

With playful characters and spellbinding music and narrated by Anita Rani, this adorable ballet is sure to have your little ones dancing with excitement!

Much-loved BBC presenter Anita Rani is on hand to read the stories and show some of the moves from the ballets with the help of the loveable characters. PLUS before the main feature, there will be a short episode of the family-friendly comedy series, ‘Jungle Beat’ which will focus on an animal character and the hilarious situations they encounter in nature.
