Charlie Haylock is one of Suffolk's leading entertainers whose informative and hilarious one-man shows are legendary. 
 
Charlie will explain how the seeds of spoken English were first set and how the Angles, Saxons, Vikings and Normans affected the language with the different sounds they brought. He’ll also demonstrate how English was really spoken in Shakespearean times and give a dialect tour of the British Isles complete with facial expressions! 
 
A very informative and highly entertaining evening is guaranteed.
