Corn Hall Comedy Club – Sept 2019

Venue: The Corn Hall

It's been a long wait but it was definitely worth it, the September line-up is smokin'!

Michael Legge (MC)

Legge makes Victor Meldrew look like the Dalai Lama delivering a brilliant white-knuckle ride of comic rage.

‘… showmanship, corking jokes, a smart agenda…’ Chortle

‘Top material, excellent delivery’ What’s On

 Cristian Reilly (Headline)

At the age of 15, Christian Reilly joined a band to get laid. The Salvation Army had different ideas…

As former integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall, Christian’s career has taken him around the world three times. On his way, he received accolades at international festivals and numerous network TV credits in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Britain.

Now a solo stand-up performer and playing all the major comedy, Christian uses his dynamic guitar and vocal skills to target histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians.

“The word ‘charisma’ is bandied around too often, but Christian does have it in spades”

“If you’re a fan of Bill Bailey or Rich Hall, you’re probably a Christian Reilly fan already” The Guardian

'Blisteringly funny' Stage

'Hysterical' **** ThreeWeeks

'Funny sonofabitch' Rich Hall

Russell Arathoon

One-liners and hilarious stories, all in his unique and not-so-innocent style.

Ben Norris

‘The term “circuit legend” is overused, but Norris is one of a handful that have been headlining for more than two decades and rarely departs a stage without leaving it torn to shreds in his wake. A master of the craft, this will be an hour of the most polished stand-up you are likely to see.’ GQ Magazine
