In a first live music show at the Corn Hall since Lockdown, we are honoured to welcome to Diss one of the biggest names in English folk music, former Bellowhead front man, Jon Boden.
In a Covid-secure, socially-distanced show with very limited tickets available, this first for The Corn Hall will be a uniquely personal and intimate show from an artist who has played some of the biggest stages in the country including The Royal Albert Hall and the BBC’s Live In Hyde Park.
Jon will be performing the self-penned songs from his albums Songs From The Floodplain, Painted Lady and Afterglow, material from Bellowhead and Spiers & Boden, material from his ‘A Folk Song A Day’ project, in which he recorded 365 folk songs in one year, material from his latest album Rose In June (Nov ’19, Hudson Records) and more.
Approx 75 mins, no interval.
If you have access issues, please contact our Box Office before booking your tickets so we can be sure to accommodate you satisfactorily.
stand out performer of his generation
Jon Boden solo is certainly something not to be missed, a variety of instrumentation and song, the dramatic gestures of a rock concert – not something you often get from a solo folk performer
