Lady Maisery

Production Company: English Folk Expo
Venue: The Corn Hall
Tickets for this show are available as either IN VENUE or AT HOME (see below)
With a disarmingly innovative approach, multi-instrumentalists and singers Hazel Askew, Hannah James and Rowan Rheingans are skilful explorers of the power, beauty and vitality of song.
Over the last decade, the trio have performed hundreds of sell-out shows across the UK and Europe to audiences captivated by a live sound far greater than the sum of its parts.
The Guardian describe Lady Maisery as making “the most exquisite, thrilling vocal harmony work in the English folk scene”.
They have released five critically acclaimed albums and are BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominees.
This event is part of a series of gigs presented by English Folk Expo. Taking place from April to August, the English Folk Expo presents series will be streamed online, but also welcome live audiences where possible. The concerts are part of an initiative to support folk, roots and acoustic music through and beyond the pandemic and will restart the process of paying artists, venues and crew, whilst the streamed content will reach music fans still unable to visit venues and festivals.
