The 1950s was a decade which saw music change forever!
In their original Rock ‘n’ Roll origins show ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll’, vocal group the TestostaTones celebrate the very best music from the mid-‘50s which were equal parts electric, exciting and dangerous.
‘Shake, Rattle & Roll’ explores the popularity of the Rock ‘n’ Roll genre and counter-culture and sees the group performing seminal songs by classic artists such as Elvis Presley, Bill Haley and the Comets, Eddie Cochrane, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis among many others.
Along with radio disc jockey and your host for the evening Chuck Anderson, The TestostaTones (who have have been voted the U.K.s premier vocal group, sung for the Queen and live on Radio 2) will perform songs including Blue Suede Shoes, Johnny B. Goode, Teenager in Love, Summertime Blues, Jailhouse Rock, Great Balls of Fire, Wake Up Little Susie, La Bamba, Hound Dog and many more, giving you… ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll’.
