Come along to our sound exploration workshop and discover your sonic curiosity!

 

Developed by sound artists, the workshop allows children to engage with sound freely and playfully encouraging them to adopt a sense of careful listening and sonic curiosity. 

 

With lots of fun listening activities which explore various aspects of sound – closeness, tone and volume – and access to special soundboxes, transducers and other sound-generating devices to explore how sound travels through materials and objects. 

 

Years 5-11 suggested but younger children are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

If you have access issues, please contact the Box Office on 01379 652241 to complete your booking. This will enable us to ensure that your visit is as comfortable and safe as possible. For fire safety reasons mobility scooters are not permitted in the Auditorium and we are limited on the number of wheelchairs we can accommodate at a performance. For this reason, wheelchair spaces should be reserved in advance to avoid disappointment.
