Ukulele Day – Concert with The Delta Beltas –
The Delta Beltas play mostly early American Blues from the Mississippi Delta, but also more modern jazz / country blues with up-beat rhythms, toe-tapping melodies and vocal harmonies and some of their own material. Expect to hear a selection of instruments including various guitars, ukulele, keyboard, harmonica, trombone and percussion including washboard with bells and horns! Think Waveney Delta meets Mississippi River Roots meets New O'rleans Street Music.
‘Country blues that brings a smile to your face and a tap to your toes’ Dave Thomas, Fine City Blues
Plus: Blue Luna – the all-female acoustic covers band whose material ranges from the 1950`s to last week!
