Set in 1920s London, the film explores the fascinating true story of the love affair between socialite and popular author Vita Sackville-West and literary icon Virginia Woolf. Teetering between convention and bohemianism, their open but still scandalous affair – which inspired Woolf’s novel Orlando – is recounted with physicality and atmosphere.
