You’re in a Bad Way
By John Osborne
When two sisters learn their dad has been diagnosed with dementia, they deal with the news in very different ways. This new show by John Osborne deals with themes that are increasingly familiar – but this is an optimistic, positive story.
John was last at the Corn Hall in 2019 when he performed his highly praised shows John Peel’s Shed and Circled in the Radio Times (both of which have been adapted for BBC Radio 4). We're delighted that he is now returning with his new funny, sad, cosy, beautiful story which deals with dementia, family and the role music plays in our lives.
‘John melts the boundaries between spoken word poetry, storytelling theatre and stand up with its sheer warmth, sensitivity and openness’ ***** Broadway Baby
