Zimbe! Come Sing the Songs of Africa

Eye Bach Choir, conducted by Leslie Olive and joined by children’s choirs from Hartismere High, Eye Primary and Mellis Primary schools will perform this work, a phenomenon which has rocked the choral world since its premiere in 2008. They will be accompanied by the Call Me Al Jazz Quintet led by the composer himself, Alexander L’Estrange. 

The programme also includes the hauntingly beautiful Five Spirituals from A Child of Our Time by Michael Tippett.
