ACCESSIBILITY

The Corn Hall Trust is committed to making sure the venue is as accessible as possible for everyone.
If you have mobility requirements or use a wheelchair….
The Corn Hall’s Box Office, Hall, Waveney room, gallery, bar and café are all on the ground floor. We also have lift access to the first floor studio, exhibition and heritage research space, office and performers green room. Both floors have disabled toilets.
We can accommodate a limited number of wheelchairs in all of our performance spaces. Please inform the Box Office when you book so we can make provision for this and reserve your space.
If your requirements necessitate someone to assist you with your trip to The Corn Hall we can arrange a complimentary ticket for your companion at the Producer’s discretion.
If you are deaf or hard of hearing….
There are induction loops in the Hall and the Waveney Room. Please enquire at the Box Office for more information.
Once you’re here…
As you enter the building you will see the Box Office and reception on your left. From here you can buy and collect tickets or find out where you should be going if you’re coming for a meeting or to visit someone.
If you are attending a meeting or visiting our resident company and are unsure where to go, please ask any of the front of house team who will be more than happy to help.
The entrance to the Hall is on the right of the foyer. Doors to the performance space open 30 minutes before the start time. If you are watching a show these will be staffed by our front of house assistants who wear ID badges. Our seating plan regularly changes, seats might be in rows or in a semi-circle or around tables. For most events they are unreserved and you can sit where you like, although wheelchair spaces will usually be allocated.
For a performance we recommend arriving 15-30 minutes prior to the start time.
You can buy a drink, snacks and meals in our bar and café to the right of the foyer.
The toilets are located across the foyer to the left of the stairs.
Relaxed performances…
Throughout the year we have ‘relaxed performances’ for certain events. A relaxed performance is a special performance for those who might not feel comfortable in a formal theatre setting, designed to welcome visitors with learning disabilities or sensory and communications disorders. Please enquire at the Box Office for more information.
