Blowzabella is a truly distinctive band, known for their powerful, drone-driven sound that blends rich melodies, rhythmic precision, and deep emotion. They create original music inspired by the traditional folk tunes and songs of England and Europe — a shared cultural heritage with deep and ancient roots.

'Tilham' Blowzabella’s 14th album, Tilham (2022), is a joyful return to the band’s roots — full of original and traditional tunes made for dancing. Formed in 1978, Blowzabella blends English and European folk influences with a unique sound that has inspired dancers and musicians across the world. All six members are composers, and their music draws on traditional dance forms like jigs, polkas, mazurkas, and bourrées.

Many of their tunes have become modern folk standards. Tilham was recorded in rural Somerset, close to the home of founder Jon Swayne, and captures the band’s energy and creativity in full flow. It’s bold, melodic, and made for the dance floor.

Please note: This show will be set up for dancing with a few tables and very limited seating around the walls only. Some seating will also be available in the cafe/bar next door throughout the evening.
