Youth Theatre at The Corn Hall Diss
Creative play, big imaginations & building confidence.
Starting Monday 15th September, our Youth Theatre Sessions return to The Corn Hall with exciting weekly groups designed to inspire, energise and empower young people aged 7 to 16.
Led by an experienced theatre practitioner, these fun and supportive sessions offer a welcoming space to:
- Explore drama through creative play and imaginative theatre games
- Build confidence, communication skills and stage presence
- Learn and grow through collaborative storytelling
- Make new friends and become part of a vibrant creative community
Ages 7–11
Time: 4.30pm – 5.45pm
Perfect for children bursting with energy and ideas! These playful, interactive sessions use games and storytelling to encourage creativity, teamwork and self-expression in a friendly environment.
Ages 12–16
Time: 6.00pm – 7.30pm
Tailored for teens ready to stretch their theatrical muscles, these sessions dive deeper into performance, character work and ensemble pieces – while keeping fun and collaboration at the heart.
Our youth theatre classes are led by facilitator Andrea Poysner who has extensive experience teaching drama skills and acting techniques. Andrea trained with Guildford School of Acting, LAMDA and at Rose Bruford. She has worked as a professional performer and drama teacher for several years and has appeared in numerous professional productions. She also has extensive experience teaching drama in schools.
No experience needed – just enthusiasm and a willingness to play!
Every Monday during term time, starting 15th September.
