Working the Land by Hand
Agriculture has long been a mainstay of Diss and the local area, with a rich tradition of handcrafted tools. On display, in collaboration with Diss Museum, are a collection of implements used to work the land by hand; before machines were developed to do the work more quickly and efficiently. The function of several of the tools showcased in the exhibition is now a mystery, with vital information having been lost over the years. Can you help identify any of these handcrafted tools?
