Station 366 and Daisy & The Continentals
An evening of 1940s Swing and Jug Band Blues, brought to you by two popular local bands, all in aid of supporting your local theatre.
Station 366 are a harmony singing group, who perform songs from the ‘40s and WWII, with a particular focus on American Swing. Once you’ve heard them, you won’t want to ‘sit under the apple tree with anyone else but them’.
Daisy & The Continentals play Jug Band, Blues and Cowboy Swing, with a repertoire of songs from the ‘20s through ‘50s and feature some whacky instruments from their collection. Their infectious humour will have you tapping your feet and laughing your blues away.
Both bands are kindly donating all proceeds from the performances to the theatres they’re playing as part of a regional tour, and we can’t thank them enough for their generosity. Catch them here at The Corn Hall Diss on Thursday 30th April at 7.30pm.
They are also playing at The Cut (Friday 16th Jan at 7.30 pm), The Fisher Theatre Bungay (Thursday 12th Feb at 7.30pm) and Beccles Public Hall (Sunday 29th March - afternoon).
Suitable for all age groups.
Support The Corn Hall Diss
As a charity we rely on donations to help cover the cost of delivering our programme of exhibitions, events, our community activities such as our Dementia Café, Arts Award, Saturday Club, Tots Tuesdays, Start With Art, as well as supporting our core costs. Whatever the donation, anything from £1 to £10,000, is support that The Corn Hall didn't have until you very kindly gave it to us. We offer you a very warm thank you.
