Use the Main Auditorium for larger presentations and conferences, combine it with the Waveney Room or Walden Studio for registration, refreshments or breakout sessions, or hire the entire venue for an event with maximum flexibility and impact. Rooms can be arranged in a range of formats, subject to your requirements and the space selected.

Our team will discuss your objectives, guest numbers, preferred layout, timings, technical needs, catering and accessibility requirements. Spaces are normally set up in advance, and a Duty Manager remains in the building throughout the hire. Stewards can be provided where required at no additional cost. A Box Office service is available for ticketed events, and eligible public events sold by The Corn Hall Diss may also receive agreed promotional support.

Food, drink and event facilities

Café refreshments, lunches, teas and bar service can be available depending on your event time and guest numbers. External catering is also welcome by prior arrangement and we are happy to recommend the best local suppliers and to guide yoiur own providers on our facilities. The Main Auditorium has a large cinema screen, presentation connection, extendable stage, lighting rig and audio system. The Waveney Room has a smaller screen, while the Walden Studio has a large wall-mounted television for presentations or films. Please ask us to confirm the equipment and technical support included in your quotation.

Getting here

The Corn Hall Diss is in the very centre of beautiful and historic Diss. Direct trains connect Diss with Norwich and London Liverpool Street, and the venue is approximately a 20-minute walk from Diss mainline station. There is no dedicated event parking at the venue, but several public pay-and-display car parks are within a very short walk; the nearest is approximately two minutes away. The driveway may be used for agreed loading and unloading before vehicles are moved to public parking.
