Wedding Ceremonies at The Corn Hall Diss
The Corn Hall Diss is an approved venue for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies.
Ceremonies are held in the gorgeous Walden Studio on the first floor* of The Corn Hall Diss building. The Walden Studio is approximately 10 x 6 metres and is decorated in neutral tones with a glorious mix of period features and more modern embellishments.
This classically stylish space makes a wonderful venue for a ceremony. The capacity of the Walden Studio is for 46 people, which includes two witnesses and a photographer – if you are having one, but does not include the couple or the two registrars.
Ceremonies take place on the hour:
- From 11am to 1pm on Tuesdays
- From 12pm to 2pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays

There is no parking at The Corn Hall Diss however there is public car parking nearby on Mount Street, Chapel Street and Shelfhanger Road.
The bridal party, and any guests with accessibility needs, are able to be dropped off by the main entrance down the driveaway (we advise reversing down the driveway as there is no turning circle).
The Corn Hall Diss is a public building and welcomes visitors to its Café, Box Office, Galley and performance spaces from 10am to 4pm, from Monday to Saturday. Ceremony guests are welcome to make use of our facilities, including the Café, before or after your ceremony.
Ceremonies are booked through Norfolk County Council and not with the venue directly.

Wedding Receptions and Celebrations at The Corn Hall Diss
We’d love to help you celebrate your special day here at The Corn Hall Diss. Not only can we host your wedding or civil partnership ceremony, but we can also host your reception.
We can host drinks receptions, or food receptions, in our Waveney Room on the ground floor – adjacent to our Bar and Café. The Waveney Room can hold up to 30 people (seated) or 50 people (standing). Room hire is priced from £40 per hour and is inclusive of a stereo system to play your own music, together with café tables and chairs. We can offer Canapé receptions, buffets and Afternoon Teas.

- Please note The Corn Hall Diss is an open and operating venue which welcomes the general public. Room hire ensures the room only is available for your exclusive use. Please contact us to discuss

- Please note that our Café / Bar is open from 9.30am to 2.30pm from Monday to Saturday for guests and visitors.
