Award-winning British blues from a true veteran of the genre.

With a career spanning more than five decades, Dave Thomas is one of the UK's most respected blues guitarists, singers and songwriters. A survivor of the legendary British blues boom of the 1960s, his music carries the spirit of icons such as John Mayall, Eric Clapton and Peter Green, delivered with authenticity, passion and masterful musicianship.

At just 18 years old, Dave was invited to join pioneering progressive rock band Blonde On Blonde, performing alongside some of the biggest names in music, including Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac, Deep Purple, Genesis, Wishbone Ash and the Steve Miller Band. His remarkable career has also seen him perform with Paul Jones and The Blues Band, as well as by special invitation for Paul McCartney.

In recent years, Dave has earned international acclaim as a leading figure on the contemporary blues scene. His albums One More Mile and Road To The Blues both reached No.1 in the UK's Roots Music Report Chart, while also gaining Top 10 positions in the American Blues and Contemporary Blues charts. In 2023, Dave was honoured with the Independent Blues Award for Best Contemporary Blues Band, while Road To The Blues won Best Contemporary Blues Album.

Backed by an outstanding band, Dave delivers a powerful live show filled with soulful vocals, expressive guitar work and songs steeped in the rich traditions of the blues. Whether you're a lifelong blues fan or discovering the genre for the first time, this is an evening of world-class musicianship from an artist still performing at the very top of his game.
