Eliza Delf & The Wilderness Collective
Venue: The Corn Hall
Norwich-based Eliza Delf is a dramatic new presence on the musical landscape – joyfully trespassing across the carefully tended genre boundaries of indie, folk, and progressive art rock, whilst leaving a trail of comparisons with Kate Bush, Florence Welch, and Annie Haslam in her wake.
Eliza will be performing with her 5-piece band The Wilderness Collective to showcase music from her remarkable debut album Into the Wilderness – released last year to widespread acclaim. Her songs draw inspiration from the darkly subversive folk tales of Angela Carter – with a dash of Me Too generation defiance to add fire to the poetry.
Supporting are The Trips - an acoustic Americana trio, featuring vocalist Jennifer Ness, the actress who played Kris Yates in ITV’s prison drama Bad Girls, cahon player Anita Turner and Emma Dent on guitar and vocals.
