"Light thickens, and the crow makes wing to the rooky wood. Good things of day begin to droop and drowse; While night's black agents to their preys do rouse."

Scottish general Macbeth, fresh from his greatest and bloodiest triumph, receives a prophecy from three witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, Macbeth murders King Duncan and takes the Scottish throne.

Wracked with guilt and paranoia, he hangs on to his throne until the bitter and bloody end.

RoughCast return, bringing their trademark clear and fast-paced story-telling to Shakespeare's most gothic and gory tragedy.
