The Corn Hall Diss is delighted to welcome back Mark Farrelly (The Silence of Snow, Jarman, Kenneth Williams: A Centenary Celebration) with his critically acclaimed solo show Quentin Crisp: Naked Hope, which premiered to rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe before touring internationally.

This captivating production brings to life the extraordinary journey of Quentin Crisp across two defining chapters. In 1960s Chelsea, we meet him in his notoriously unkempt flat, reflecting on a lifetime of rejection and resilience as a flamboyantly gay man living boldly against convention.

The story then transports us to 1990s New York, where an older Quentin, now celebrated and embraced, shares his sharp wit and hard earned philosophy on identity, individuality, and the courage it takes to truly be yourself.

Directed by Linda Marlowe, Naked Hope is a witty, moving, and ultimately uplifting celebration of the urgent necessity to live authentically. Insightful, poignant, and full of character, this remarkable solo performance will stay with you long after the final line.
