Production Company: Royal Opera House
Venue: The Corn Hall
It’s Figaro’s wedding, and you’re invited to join the Almaviva household for an uproarious day of revelation and scandal.

Mozart’s comic opera is packed with plot twists, forbidden desires and unforgettable melodies, combining laugh-out-loud comedy with moments of breath taking beauty.

The Marriage of Figaro is a comedy in five acts, written in 1778 by Pierre Beaumarchais. It is the second in the Figaro trilogy, preceded by The Barber of Seville and followed by The Guilty Mother. The Marriage of Figaro is also an opera buffa in four acts composed in 1786 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with an Italian libretto written by Lorenzo Da Ponte. The opera is about the wedding day of Figaro and Susanna, two workers in Count Almaviva’s home.
