CONGRATULATIONS, DAVID!
Posted on 16th June 2025
We are delighted to learn that David Case has been awarded a MBE for his services to the community in Diss in the King’s Birthday Honours. We send our hearty congratulations to David for this wonderful recognition of all that he has done for Diss.
David was instrumental in the successful redevelopment of The Corn Hall Diss, helping to secure the funding not only for the renovation and extension of The Corn Hall itself which set it on the path to becoming the vibrant arts and cultural venue that it is today, but was also the driving force behind the Heritage Triangle Project which was responsible for the wonderful regeneration of St Nicholas Street, Mount Street/Market Place and Market Hill.
We are thrilled that David’s significant contribution to ensuring that Diss thrives into the future has been recognised and we congratulate him on being awarded an MBE. It has never been more important to support our market towns and we are grateful to David for his vision, passion and commitment to Diss over many years in ensuring that it remains an attractive place to live in, work in and visit both now and into the future.
Congratulations David, on behalf of The Corn Hall Diss Team and Volunteers.
