Follow the Lost Boys, Hoist the Jolly Roger and Look Out for Captain Hook.

For three days last week 22 young performers immersed themselves in singing, dancing, drama and arts activities as they journeyed to Neverland. Late on the third day these young people invited their families and friends to join them for their showcase. The audience was entranced as we were introduced to the Darling Family, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, the Lost Boys as well as evil captain Hook and the ticking Crocodile. The ensemble treated us to poetry, mime and ‘roof raising’ singing…the words of ‘A pirate I shall be…AAARRRGH’ still resounding as we left after a fun filled Summer Stage School at the Corn Hall. A big thank you to drama specialist Jen Alexander for devising such an engaging programme for the young performers and to Lynn and Lynda, our volunteers, who supported the group. If you are interested in joining the regular drama activity at the Corn Hall each Saturday morning please contact Rachel: her email is rachel@greasepaintacademy.com
